Jeanine A.Carpenter 10-9-1969 to 11-13-2012

My sister has passed away today at 2:30am. I asked her many of times during this Cancer nightmare if she knew who The Lord was; or Jesus? She would answer me with a smile, and say, “he is the son of God, Jimmy!” I would tear up and try to stay confident in this trial in both of our lives. I would spend many of time in the last of her time here on earth praying for her and reading the Bible to her. I praise her father for standing by her side as much as he could almost every day. Most of us look at a sister when we are young as a tattletale or a spy for your parents. Yes; Jeanine A. Carpenter was a great sister in many ways as her and I grew up together. The trials and nonsense of brother and sister quarrels; but the many good time well over ride everything that you can set a side when you hear the words Cancer is in your sisters lungs and has moved rapidly through her body. That phrase coming from your own mother; because I just would have not believed anyone else. My sister was a very strong woman, but this Cancer took ahold of her stronger. My sister was by my side through many trials in my life, most would have never understood. Yes she was there, and now the Lord has her. I feel that she is at peace; I pray for all the men that can understand how important sisters really are in your life. Yes; the Lord has blessed me Jim Gandolf with a sister that spent so much time with me here on earth. She has left many friends and son, daughter, two brothers, and her mother and father. Jeanine was a fighter, and the very strong woman. Cancer took over her, and she just didn’t want to give up! I do love my sister for everything we went through in life together.
